Easy to vote, hard to cheat!
You might be surprised by the effort required to make it easy to vote and hard to cheat. While we have to fight to protect the voting rights of those requiring assistance due to mental or physical impairments, many of our most vulnerable voters are the strongest and most able among us. Our armed forces are frequently challenged by distance and voting accessibility when deployed at sea or on overseas assignments. It is essential we make every effort to ensure their votes are counted in a timely and accurate fashion.
The ACRU fights to ensure all Americans are able to vote in a safe, simple, and secure manner.
“The key to safe and secure elections is citizen participation in the process. Presently, there is a shortage of poll workers. The American Constitutional Rights Union’s Committee to Support and Defend is recruiting veterans to work the polls on election day. Our veterans have pledged an oath to support and defend the Constitution and we are thankful that they consider this oath to be a lifelong commitment.”
